<body bgcolor="#FAFAC8" topmargin="0"> <p><font color="#008040">This page uses frames, but your browser doesn't support them.</font></p> <p><font color="#008040">Please scroll down to find the parts you want.</font></p> <p><font color="#008040"></font> <font color="#008000" size="5"><b>The Choir</b></font></p> <p><font color="#008000" size="4">The Worcester Cathedral Chamber Choir is a mixed voice choir (SATB) comprising about 30 singers. It was formed in 1998 and joined the Cathedral Choir and the Voluntary Choir as the newest of Worcester Cathedral's three choirs. Our volunteer members come from all parts of the Worcester Diocese and sometimes beyond. </font></p> <p><font color="#008000" size="4">We present at least three concerts a year both in the Worcester Diocese and further afield and sing Choral Evensong in the Cathedral at 5.30p.m.on one Thursday (usually, but not always, the last) in most months. As might be expected much of the music we sing is from the traditional Anglican Church Music heritage but a look at the </font> <a target="_top" href="history%20set.html"><font color="#008000" size="4">Music and Performance History</font></a><font color="#008000" size="4"> page will show the full range of music we have performed.</font></p> <p><font color="#008000" size="4">Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings at 7.30p.m. in Kings School, Worcester - next to the Cathedral. Occasional extra rehearsals are also held on Sunday evenings.</font><font color="#008000" size="3"> </font></p> <p><font color="#008000" size="4">We are always willing to consider requests to perform, either in the form of a concert or to sing a service for you.
