RECRUITMENT

We are always delighted to hear from potential members who are prepared to give the time and dedication needed to enable us to maintain the standards expected of a Cathedral Choir. At the time of writing, September 2008, we have vacancies in the Soprano section of the choir.

If you have choral experience, good sight reading, and a commitment to high standards, contact the Membership Secretary, Carol West (see foot of page). You will be invited to join us for a rehearsal (normally Thursdays at 7.30pm in Worcester) and if you wish, be auditioned for future membership.

The friendly and informal audition with our Musical Director, Stephen Shellard, will enable him to find the range and quality of your voice and you may be asked to bring along a short prepared piece of your own choice. If you are successful you will be placed on our waiting list.

The current subscription for choir members is £40 per annum.   Student Membership is available at £5 per academic term. The financial year starts at the beginning of May.
